Hey Folks,

November was a fun month of 70 degree weather and several trips to Disneyland. We also made a trip to North Dakota to visit Jason's Grandma Rose. A couple of Jason's aunts and uncles and several cousins came out to see us as well which was a lot of fun. Thurston stayed busy by giving the elevator of the apartment building a good workout and he had a great time playing the keyboard with his great grandma.
Besides Disneyland and our trip to the great North, we spent time with friends and explored more of the city now that it is covered with Christmas lights. We spent Thanksgiving at Nikki & Paul's hanging out with other friends who were homeless for the holiday, which is always fun.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We look forward to the Holidays and hope you have a great start to the season!!

Santa Monica and Dancing

We had a great time on Black Friday with our friends Ben, Ashleigh and Lucas who made the trip up from Dana Point.
We all rode our bikes up the beach to Santa Monica where the ladies did a little shopping, the boys ate some churros, and the little boys had an impromptu dance party.
Lucas came prepared with some serious dance skills, while Thurston brought a more freestyle approach to the party, which usually devolved into wiggling and running in a circle!

Hello, again,

Well, life in Venice has continued to be pretty awesome. We've really enjoyed exploring more of the city and relaxing around the house. Thurston experienced his first trip to Disneyland!! We had a great time celebrating Jaiden's bday, but unfortunately our camera was dead...we'll post the iphone photos later. :) (you didn't really think we would have missed out on documenting that, did you?)

We've also had some visitors...our friends Ashleigh, Ben & Lucas came up and joined us for a Fall Toddlerfest and lunch in Santa Monica. Then Jason's parents (aka Gamma & Gampa) came out. We were all joined by Michael & Diane for lots of great meals. However, Michael & Diane decided to skip out on our second trip to Disneyland...I think their idea of the "most magical place on earth" is Napa and I can't say I blame them.

Hola People,

I'm so on top of things this month that I am posting September before September's over....I'm also not expecting anything super exciting for tomorrow.

Anyway, one major thing went on this past month and that is that we moved! We are back in LA. Venice to be exact. We are loving Venice and our new place. We are subletting an apartment (and a cat). So, if you are wondering why we have all new furnishings, all of our furniture and junk is packed away in a box somewhere in Carson...we hope.

If you are around we would love visitors!! We have an extra bed and it's not one of the rock hard mattresses that we make our parents sleep on when they visit...sorry Folks. Those things suck and we didn't realize it until we were forced to sleep on them. However, Jason just informed me that he liked them...but he once fell asleep while eating a taco...

Hello Folks,

We had a super fun month of August. We started the month off with a trip to Colorado where we met our new niece Katelyn and we attended our friends Scott and Ashley Kaplan's wedding. We then came home and attended the wedding of Mike and Stephanie Willette. Needless to say, we had a great time and we wish them all the very best.

Thurston is as funny as ever and definitely has opinions these days...he prefers chocolate over vegetables and lemonade over water...we're off to a great start. The more he learns and grows, we have realized he received the chatter-box gene from his father and his mother's sweet disposition. :)

Hey Folks,

I know it has been a while since we've posted photos. For the love of my sister-in-law, I am FINALLY posting Thurston's 2nd b-day pictures. We had a great time celebrating his birthday. Since then, we have pretend birthday cake, every wrapped gift he sees is a birthday present and anything remotely cone-shaped is considered a "birthday party hat"...so I think Thurston enjoyed it as well.

Thurston is doing really well. He loves books, the beach, choo-choos, garage doors, & bike rides. He makes us laugh everyday and we think he's pretty awesome to have around.

Hey Folks,

Here are some new photos. April was a more exciting months for us. Thurston is quite the conversationalist and amazes us everyday with things that he has learned. He has a great love for garage doors and spent the majority of our trip to Cincinnati talking about them. He spent the rest of the time crying when the dogs would bark. We have taken several trips in the past couple of months.(Houston, Cinci, and Denver)Thurston has proven to be a great travel partner as long as we have a window seat....to open and close the window shade or as he calls it "door."

We are missing the photos of our Denver trip...we will get them up soon.
